Who We Are

Bradley D. Shepherd
President, Ozark Legal Writing, PLC

A graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, Brad is licensed to practice in Arkansas state and federal courts. While in law school he was a member of Law Review and very active in moot court competitions, representing the law school at the regional Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition where he and his partner received the third-place award for their briefs (despite being the only team without a separate brief writer).

He began clerking for the distinguished law firm of Davis, Wright, Clark, Butt & Carithers, PLC, after his second year of law school, and based upon the quality of his writing they offered him an associate position. Beginning while he was a clerk, and continuing through the time he served as an associate of the firm, he wrote numerous complex briefs for the senior partners with little or no guidance and typically no subsequent revisions to his drafts.

In July of 2004, he left Davis-Wright and started Ozark Legal Writing, PLC in order to focus on doing what he enjoys and does best, namely crafting legal arguments and writing briefs. He is a first-class researcher and an excellent writer.
