Ozark Legal Writing is me, Brad Shepherd
I graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in the spring of 2002, and passed the Arkansas bar examination July of that same year. While in law school, I was a member of Law Review and active in the Board of Advocates (specifically moot court competitions).
After law school, I worked as an associate for one of the larger Fayetteville law firms where I wrote numerous complex briefs for the senior partners with little or no guidance, and typically no subsequent revisions to my drafts.
In July of 2004 I started Ozark Legal Writing, PLC, in order to focus on doing what I enjoy and do best: crafting legal arguments and writing briefs.
For over five years now, I have researched legal questions and written memoranda and briefs for Arkansas and out-of-state attorneys. My research projects have taken me into almost every legal specialty, from domestic relations to international law, and touched on constitutional issues (state and U.S.), as well as criminal, maritime, tax, contract, real estate, environmental, and many, many others. I have written briefs for literally every level of trial and appellate courts, both state and federal.
If you trust me with your legal research and brief writing, you can rest assured that you will receive the best answer and best written product possible.
